Orna Glas

Holds a BA in Art Therapy (1991), her thesis paper was entitled “Photography in Everyday Life as a Snapshot of Reality”. Certified YAHAT supervisor. Graduate of Halfaba School of Psychotherapy and the program “Self Psychology and the Therapeutic Act”, School of Psychotherapy, Tel Aviv University. Has rich experience in therapeutic work through photography and art, with various populations in mental health institutions, rehabilitation institutions, residential treatment centers, parent and child centers, and more. She currently has a private clinic, is a therapist supervisor, conducts workshops in phototherapy and is an instructor in multicultural programs.

Oriya Kadari

Multidisciplinary artist, art therapist, lecturer and scholar. Works with teenagers and adults in a private clinic, treatment center and the public service. She has worked in inpatient care and currently works, among other places, in a treatment center for at-risk teenage girls. Graduate of the School for Visual Theatre, holds an MA in Art Therapy, is a doctoral student at Bar Ilan University. Studies diversified connections between creative processes and transformative processes.

Ayelet HaShachar Cohen

Former head of Musrara’s Photography Department, multidisciplinary artist and artist mentor. Graduate of Hamidrasha – Faculty of Arts in Ramat Hasharon. Curator of the exhibition series “First Friday” for young artists at the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art. Participated in group exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in Israel and around the world. Laurate of the America-Israel Culture Foundation scholarship and of the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sport Prize to Encourage Creativity. Her works are among public and private collections.

Asaf Alboher

Photographer and photography lecturer. Graduated with honors from the Photography Department of Musrara School (2008). Holds a BA in Philosophy and Cinema from Tel Aviv University. Deals with photography of portraits, products architecture, and teaches photography to various audiences. Laurate of the 2008 America-Israel Culture Foundation photography scholarship; has presented in various exhibitions in Israel and around the world.

Dafna Ichilov

Artist, curator and photography lecturer. Holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and an MFA from the Central Saint Martins College of Art in London. Laurate of the Gerard Levi Prize for Young Photographers (Israel Museum). Co-founder of the gallery Limbus – A Place for Photography, of which she is a director and curator; member of the Limbus Group. Freelance curator in various alternative and institutional spaces. Has presented in group and solo exhibitions in Israel and around the world. Her works are among private and museum collections. Initiator, curator and editor of the book Limbus. Place. Photography (Hakibbutz Hameuchad Publishing in collaboration with the Limbus Group). A lecturer in various frameworks and mentor of individuals and groups, students and younger and older artists.

Vered Rahat

Practices phototherapy and video therapy in private and group frameworks. Graduate of Musrara’s Phototherapy Department (2012). Holds an MA in Cinema from Tel Aviv University. Certified group counselor (School of Education, Tel Aviv University), group supervisor and counselor at Sharon Israel Center – therapeutic work through cinema in diversified groups of children, adolescents, women and senior citizens. Doctoral students in the Department of Cinematic Culture, Haifa University.

Dr. Jean Pizante

Senior-level clinical psychologist. Holds a PhD in Psychology (1999). Has 20 years of experience in mental treatment to children and adolescents in special education. For the past 10 years he has been supervising, teaching and training therapists from in the entire therapeutic spectrum.

Dr. Tali Gorali-Turel

Graduate of Musrara’s Phototherapy program, holds a PhD in Musicology. Certified graduate of the Jungian Psychotherapy program of Tel Aviv University, and graduate of the Early Childhood Psychiatry program. Also graduate of the Mandel Educational Leadership Institute Fellowship Program. Member of the seminar “Dreams for Therapists and Patients”, led by Prof. Abramovich at Ma’agan, Jerusalem. Works as a dyadic phototherapist in a parents and toddlers center at Ma’ale Adumim, and as an independent therapist.

Yael Ilan

Professional photographer with over 20 years of experience. In 1998 she graduated from the Photography Department at WIZO Haifa College, and since then has been photographing for numerous and diversified private and institutional clients, in the fields of documentary, theatre and music. Upon graduating, she presented a solo exhibition at the Artists House, and over the years she has presented in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and around the world.

Livnat (Libby) Rokach

Phototherapist and psychotherapist focusing on trauma and loss. Graduate of the Musrara’s Phototherapy Department (2010). Counsels short-term and dynamic groups, treats individuals, lectures and supervises students. Works in the Psychiatric Division of Tel Hashomer Hospital, Chava Center, a post-trauma clinic of the Ministry of Defense, and with various populations in the private sector.

Merav Shabbi Ben Elisha

Holds an MA in Art Therapy from Lesley College. Owns a private practice. Conducts workshops for professionals as well as general audiences in the fields of video therapy and phototherapy. Lecturer at Levinsky College and Beit Berl College. Works in the Adult Eating Disorder Department at Tel Hashomer Hospital and the Tel Aviv Municipality’s Youth Empowerment program.

Dr. Nurit Rones Raushbach, first year coordinator

A drama therapist since 1998, Dr. Rones Raushbach has rich experience with adolescents, at-risk youth and special education children. Graduate of Musrara’s phototherapy program for therapists, “Photography in the Therapeutic Process”. Works in a private clinic with children, teenagers, parents and in dyadic treatment. Trains students and therapists in expressive arts therapy, in public and private frameworks.

Dr. Susana Pendzik

Senior drama therapist, certified supervisor by YAHAT (Israel Association of Arts Therapies). Head of the MA Drama Therapy program at Tel Hai Academic College. Teaches at the Hebrew University and the training program of the Swiss Institute of Drama Therapy. Holds workshops and courses around the world, has published numerous articles and several books in the field.

Racheli Zuckerman Yehuda

Clinical therapist, certified supervisor in psychotherapy and diagnostics. Practices a dynamic approach, combining CBT and AEDP. Experienced in treating children, teenagers and adults. Former chief psychologist in the Beit Hayeled children’s home in Jerusalem. Has worked in clinics and inpatient care. She currently has a private clinic and is a doctoral student in Bar Ilan University’s Philosophy Department.

Rinat Levy

Arts therapist, graduate of Musrara’s phototherapy program for therapists, “Photography in the Therapeutic Process”. Holds an MA in Social Psychology. Treats children ages 5 to 18, parents counsel, group instructor. Experienced in treating children and adults, and in family intervention. Specializes in treating patients who suffered sexual assault, trauma and severe illness. Currently works at Meital Center treating sexual assault in children, and in the nonprofit Mandala of the Heart, which specializes in treating families of cancer patients.

Rona Tamir

Art therapist and supervisor, dyadic art therapist, graduate of the “Photography in the Therapeutic Process” program for therapists of the Musrara School’s Phototherapy Department. Holds an MA in Special Education and a BA in Fine Art, centering on photography. Works as a therapist and supervisor in the Ministry of Education, in special and general education; works in Ministry of Social Services programs, and in a private clinic – with children, youth, parents and in dyadic treatment.

Shirley Goffer, head of the Phototherapy Department

Clinical psychologist, supervisor, treats in a private clinic, works with children, adolescents and adults. Holds an MA in Arts Policy and Theory from the History and Theory Department of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Studies the relationship between art and creation and mental processes, as well as creative processes in an academic environment.

Shirley Merritt

Expressive arts therapist – visual art and phototherapy.
